AC Inspections ensure your equipment keeps you comfortable all year long. Forget about the possibility of your AC failing on the hottest day of the year! With a Bunns & Bennett maintenance plan in place, your system will perform at its best, no matter the weather.

After the summer heat, we can expect cooler daytime temperatures and cold nights starting in early fall. As a maintenance plan member, we’ll also come out and service your furnace to prepare your system for winter. We’ve listed below some of the steps we take and checks we make on your comfort system during our visits.

AC Service Visit Covers:

Outdoor coil cleaning, drain line flushing, condensate pump cleaning, operational tests for all components
Integrity tests for the compressor, capacitors, contactors, fans, motors, limit and safety controls
Refrigerant charge testing and line set inspection
Temperature drop testing and as-needed airflow adjustments
Indoor and outdoor coil check

Furnace Service Visit Covers:

Pilot light testing, gas pressure measurements, flue pipe, and draft diverter inspections
Inspection of your heat exchanger for cracks
Combustion analysis and carbon monoxide monitoring
Testing for all capacitors, fan motors, blower, and inducer motor amp draw, limit and safety controls
Cleaning of burners and blower assembly to optimize operational efficiency

I was in need of a new HVAC system and duct work. I called a few different places and was told a few different things with prices all over the place. Scott worked up an estimate pretty quickly and once I have the go ahead they were ready as soon as I was. They replaced everything within a day’s time and everything looks and works great. Their technicians are well trained and thorough.I specifically want to recognize Dexter Smith. Dexter has been our service tech for years now. He checks our indoor and outdoor units for proper performance. He also gives the outdoor coils a thorough cleaning, which is key to making the thermal exchange optimal. I have had a Bunn and Bennett yearly maintenance contract for over 10 years and always received excellent service. The one time i needed a service call, they responded that day and made the repair in one trip. Because of the yearly maintenance contract, I only paid for the part. Excellent service at a time I know they were very busy.

Scott Cantrell is the best very pleasant and professional up front and honest. The installation crew was great also the arrived on time. They removed my old unit in no time and installed the new one. They were very nice and pleasant to deal with. Cleaned everything up when they were done. Would I continue to use Bunns & Bennett Heating and Air Conditioning you bet your baby booties I will. We had two HVAC units installed with Bunns and Bennett led by Jeff and Tyler. To say they were exceptional would be an understatement. Jeff walked me through the pros and cons of replacing our units and also offered alternative repairs that could be made. Ultimately, we decided to have both of our units replaced. The day of the installation the crew was prompt, clean and very respectful. If you’re looking for an honest and hardworking crew don’t hesitate to go with Jeff at B&B.

We had looked into Bunn and Bennett after getting a quote from another local Huntsville company. We decided to go with Bunn and Bennett because they offered the best value combined with exceptional customer service. Both Scott and the whole install team were fantastic during the 3 day removal of our old ductwork/unit and the install of our all new system. The install crew kept me informed of the whole process and cleaned up every single day before they left! They had me double check their work and showed me how everything works before they were completely finished. HVAC work is never cheap but you get what you pay for and we are so glad that we chose Bunn and Bennett to be our HVAC company! If you need any type of work done, give them a call. You won’t regret it.

Heat pump froze up during recent cold spell. I got quick response from company and tech (Al Black) was very thorough in determining the root cause of the issue. He didn’t just replace parts until unit worked.he found the real problem. This resulted in having to replace only one part which was actually cheaper than what he though to be the original problem. Its been several weeks since the repair and unit has worked fine even during very cold weather.
